Fantastic shop run by an excellent family who really care about their games and customers. There’s plenty on offer, including a great range of bargain titles, arcade cabinets, Big Box Amiga titles and Pokemon cards and accessories.

We recommend taking the park and ride into Canterbury to visit this shop and also enjoy the rest the city has to offer.

A great selection of games and consoles across many generations. Prices are excellent and there are even some retro cabinets on site. The Retro Hunter also offers a great range of retro toys and games and has a solid social media presence on Twitter with his account @TheRetroHunter.

There is parking outside of the shop and Nearby Southend-on-Sea offers some arcade action too, although these days it’s heavily tilted towards ticket games.

A small, but well run Retro games shop that covers mostly 16-bit era games and consoles. Great selection of Game Boy titles and SNES units. Also offers some retro toys and games. Prices are good and some bargains are to be had in the unboxed sections.

The attached Craft Centre offers good craft shopping, food options and parking and a weekend Boot Sale on site can offer bargains on occasion.

Normally we wouldn’t include Cash Converter Shops, as they fall under the banner of ‘pawn shop/resellers’ however this branch seems slightly different, with a good range of Micro computers, good value PS1 and PS2 titles and frequently changing stock. They’re also willing to do a deal for bundles to save cash.
